Ulead Video Studio: Unexpected error. What to do?

Ulead VideoStudio expert's help needed! I always get this during a transfer. What do I do to prevent this from happening over and over again? And why is it "especificado" it's supposed to be in English right? Could it be that the program has an error?

Hello Avel,

You might be getting that error because your computer cannot be able to process the videos in Ulead Video Studio using the memory that you currently have. If you have 512 MB ram or below, you will need to upgrade it. The app will work better with 4 MB Ram and more.

There are a number of things you can try to solve this problem: -While using this software, close all other applications such as Internet Browser, Messenger and other applications that take up system memory. You might be getting this error due to system overload.

Consider upgrading your computer with a RAM of minimum 1 GB -Go to Control Panel, Double click on Ulead Video Studio and instead of uninstall, click on Repair. -Are you using the latest version of Ulead Video Studio? Make sure that you have correctly deleted all previous versions. Here is a link to the latest version of this software

Don’t worry about the error message appearing in both English and Spanish. No especificado just means unspecified. The software may have language packs other than English.

Since it is an “unexpected” error, try closing the application and open it again. See if it works. If this doesn’t work, try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Ulead VideoStudio among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install the program back. See if this works. Also, try updating your program to the latest version. The latest version at the moment, VideoStudio X10, supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10.

It requires 3 GHz or faster Intel Core i3 or equivalent AMD A4 processor, 4 GB RAM, video card with 256 MB video RAM, sound card, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution. Try downloading the free trial of Corel VideoStudio Pro.
