Ulead Video Studio setup error

Hi Sabon,
Well, worry not, it is a common problem is also to some users. Although they haven’t found out what is causing the problem yet, we can still repair this problem through file tweaking. The procedure is somehow complex, yet if you follow the instructions, then I’m sure you will be able to get rid of this problem. Here is how to do it:
1. First, you have removed the files and folders created in the previous installation attempts.
2. Insert your Ulead Video Studio 11 installer disk.
3. Copy all the files found in the disk, and paste to a certain folder on your hard disk.
4. Open info.ini > Change the numerical input beside “AVControlSDK=1” to 0 so it will look like this “AVControlSDK=0 > Save it.
5. Run the Ulead Video Studio setup that is found on your hard disk.
6. Run AVControl.exe that is found on your hard disk. It is usually found in utilities > AVControlSDK. Of course, that file directory is located in the folder where you pasted the files on the disk.
Hope it works.

I’m not sure what’s causing this problem with your installation. Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus is perfectly compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP so I’m sure your system is pretty much compatible with it. If your installer for this application is a download version, it is possible that it is damaged or there is a corrupted file in the installer.

Try downloading the installer again on its official website so you will be sure that you are downloading a working installer. You may also check your computer for any possible errors that might interfere with the installation. Sometimes problems in the hard drive’s file system create a conflict when installing something on the machine.

Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus requires at least a Pentium 4 processor or higher recommended. This application can be installed on a computer that is running on Windows XP Home Edition/Professional Service Pack 2 32-bit, Windows XP Media Center/Professional 64-bit, or Windows Vista platform.

For the complete information about this application, please refer to the PDF file at. You need Adobe Reader to open the file on your computer.
