I tried to put a .deb file onto my computer by employing Ubuntu Software Center in Ubuntu 11.04. While trying to do so I received a failure message that said this product is no good and may generate PC malfunctions. Please inform the service provider or person who gave you this product and tell them about the error. Is there any way that I can still install this program onto my computer?
Perhaps, your desired program that you want to install has a problem. So thus the installation error has occurred did you maintain proper installation process when installing the software? I think, theres problem in your .deb file something like viruses or expiration. Here I discuss a something about your problem. You can’t install any single web packages for this following reason (web download and installing).
The packages have not been checked for security by Ubuntu members. Also it could contain software/malware which can harms your system.
The package may require some extra software to run. So you may have to download those of software then with other source.
So, you have to try with the new one.
