Ubunto-operating system management – technical support

Hello,

I have recently purchased an Ubuntu version of Linux and installed it along with my windows already installed. Now I am having some troubles with softwares. I cannot run few softwares along with some browsers with Ubuntu but I can run them with windows 7. Should someone know about this problem kindly inform me about it.

The problem you are encountering is system incompatibility. Where the program you installed in your Ubuntu computer is not compatible with the operating system. To be able to use an application, it first must be compatible with the operating system it was installed to. 

If the program is not compatible with the operating system running on the computer, it will really not work even if you uninstall and reinstall the application. Before installing an application on your computer, you should check its system requirements first. This is usually the problem with most computer users they just install applications without checking its system specifications first to see if it will work on his computer.

Check the applications you are installing on your Ubuntu machine if they are really compatible with the operating system. Most applications are compatible with Windows platforms but not with Linux or Ubuntu systems.
