To set up POP3 and SMTP on your phone go to

1. Menu > Messages > Email >  Press OK
2. Give some name to your account.
3. Now depending upon where you have your email the next data needs to be done correctly. I'm going to show example for Google mail (Gmail).
4. Enter Email ID: [email protected]
5. Enter your password.
6. Incoming server type is POP3
7. Incoming server is : pop3.gmail.com (This is for Gmail might be different for some other)
8. Outgoing server SMTP is : smtp.gmail.com (This is for Gmail might be different for some other)
9. Press ok and you should get a confirmation that The pop3 has been successfully completed.
10. Then press back on your phone
11. Select your email account you created
12. You need to set this Values
13. Secured connection: off
14. POP3 port: 995
15. SMTP Port : 587
16. Check The option APOP Login.
17. Download Limit: 500
18. Secured connection: SSL (Choose SSL for second option not for the first)
19. Retrieving Option: Select Subject only
20. Keep On Server: Check it
21. My Address: [email protected]
22. Username /Password : same as you've set above
23. POP before SMTP: Don't check
24. SMTP Auth: Check
25. Same as POP3/IMAP4 : Check
26. Save All Settings on the end.

This should set up your phone email for Google mail.
