Hello,

An error message appears (as shown in the screenshot) for the assembly when I did run my work in Solidwork simulation while simulating of transferring of heat. I don’t understand actually what shall I do now. Can you please help me?

Hello Gary D Reed,

Well, in thermal analysis, we define conduction as the flow of heat inside and between the bodies and radiation is the transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves.

In this case if you are getting error of incompatible initial temperatures, you have to run an analysis to make estimates of heat transfer coefficients on several different surfaces or you can try a convectional coefficient on exposed to air surfaces.
