Transfer of email files to Desktop using Windows and Thunderbird

I am using a Laptop and a Desktop, both have Windows as OS and I also installed Thunderbird Email client. Both PC’s  are configured with the same email. The purpose of the Desktop is to save all emails on server until I delete them. The laptop is set for all emails on server. The problem is not all messages are sent in the desktop. I have seen some messages in the laptop that were not in the desktop. I tried checking emails in the desktop but I did not find the problem. Any help?

Hello Toni,

If you are using the same email on both the thunder bird email and client and the server then it is possible to have such a problem. I think there may be a problem in the configuration of the client or server settings, in that you have configured the client with the server settings or the server with the client settings, hence making the messages that were meant to reside of the server to be redirected to the email client.

So you might just check the settings for both the thunder bird client and the server, if there is any mix then reconfigure them properly so that the messages are redirected to the right place.
