Is there a way to convert Ai to dxf with Mac?

I have AutoCAD 18.1 on my Mac for 2D and 3D drafting. How can I open Adobe Illustrator files in AutoCAD? Is there a way to convert AI to DXF with MAC? I have a 21.5" iMac with a 2.7 GHz Core i5, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA Geforce GT640M Graphics Card and OSx Snow Leopard.

Is there a way to convert Ai to dxf with Mac?

You can convert Ai Files to DFX by using the DFX converter software like:

– Aide PDF to DXF Convert 9.6

– Auto DWG DXF Convert 3.5

– DWG to IMAGE Convert MX 4.8

– HPL@CAD 4.0

Is there a way to convert Ai to dxf with Mac?

Dear Bryan,

You can't import Ai files into AutoCAD, yet you can try one of the following options:

1. You can export AI to DWG from Illustrator and import it into AutoCAD.

2. You can also export to PDF and then import it into AutoCAD.

3. You can use plug-ins for Illustrator which allow you to export DXF directly from Adobe Illustrator.

You can buy the plug in from here.

This plug-in support Mac-OS.
