Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Installation Error

The other day as I was trying to install Backup Exec administration 2012 unit an error message is shown as follows:

Symantec Backup
 
Symantec Backup Exec (TM) 2012
 
There are remote Administrator files in C:Program
FilesSymantecBack Exec please select a new destination
folder.
 
                                                              OK
 
I seriously need to know how to get this solved, please help me solve this.

Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Installation Error

Hi Natanne,

It seems that you need to uninstall Remote Administration Console before you try to install Backup Exec.

1. Click Start button, select Control Panel

2. Now click on Add or Remove Programs

3. Find and select Remote Administration Console. Hit Uninstall button.

4. Restart your computer

5. Try again to install Backup Exec.

Another way to solve your problem is to change installation directory. Simply then errors occurs click OK and change installation directory as shown in this picture. It should solve your problem.
