Suggest me a Ubuntu Totem DTS Decoder to decode the audio files

Suggest me a Ubuntu Totem DTS Decoder, Do I need to use a hardware DTS decoder? Or is there any software that I can use to decode the audio files which will access the separate tracks and extract them to wav file.

Suggest me a Ubuntu Totem DTS Decoder to decode the audio files

Hi there,

There are few DTS decoders available in internet you can download those and most of those works fine. I can suggest you few names like DVDFab Video Converter, AC3 DTS codec etc. there is no need of hardware use. It can decode and give output using the system. Now you can also do it by using the command in terminal by writing totem DVD://, but it will show a message that “missing plugin”.

Now just install the plugin necessary. Take the root privilege and write in terminal “emerge gst-plugins-bad”. Now you will show another message. You can find out the answer from the below link.
