I bought a new PC, and when I am trying to update its windows I am getting an error that says windows update error 800f082, I am stuck with this error what can I do to get relieved of it?

You can follow the following steps to solve this issue:
Step 1: Windows update component should be registered.
For that go to all programs and then accessories, run as administrator and type the following command REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL then press enter and keep on trying all these commands.
Step 2: You needs to rename windows update temporary files.
Go to Start and search for a notepad, open it, and copy the following commands and paste it in notepad windows.
Once you finish pasting then save it as register.bat, then run as administrator, and you will see a window like DOS is processing.
Step 3: Clean boot
Type MSConfig in the search bar and press ok. In the service, the tab goes to hide all Microsoft service and click on disable all checkbox.
Restart your computer and test if you can update your system in clean boot.
