Hi. To learn how to install the HP Officejet Pro L7780 ink cartridges, follow the steps which include, opening the cover of the cartridge, removing the cartridge from its packaging, aligning each of them with the slot which has been coded according to colours and then inserting the correct cartridge in the correct slot. Next, press down on the cartridges in a firm manner so that it is in place. Then, close the cover of the cartridge. As the next step, to install the printheads, first pen the cover of the printer and keep pressing OK till the carriage moves to the left.
Next, from the printhead, remove the cardboard in case it is being installed for the first time. Then, lift the latch of the printhead and shake it up before installing it. Insert the new printhead which has been removed from its packaging into the slot which fits the right colour. Ensure that both the labels on the printhead as well as the latch must match. Press the printhead so that a proper contact is established, pull the latch forward and then press it down to engage it. Finally, the cover on the top needs to be closed after which the printheads can be aligned.
