Hey, I want to set up my terminal server using remote desktop services on server 2008. Please help me in setting it up.

Hello. Here are the steps for installing The Terminal Services on Server 2008 R2 machine.

Go to server manager -> click on roles -> select add roles.
Checkbox Remote desktop services, click on next.
Go to the role services page, checkbox remote desktop licensing services, and Remote Desktop session host.
In add roles wizard, specify the Authentication method for remote desktop session host.
On clicking next, you will have to specify the license permission; it is user wish to specify which method.
Add the users who can connect to the Remote Desktop services, click next.

Enable all the settings in the client experience, click next.
You don’t need to specify Configure Discovery Scope for RD licensing, click next.
