Step by Step Procedures in Creating a Server

I want to have a one computer server but I don’t know how doing it. Does anyone have an idea or step by step procedure on what to do creating a server?

Step by Step Procedures in Creating a Server

Well,

In order to create a home server, you need to have Broadband Internet connection which you need to keep always on. Then you need to have “Windows” in your computer as I will describe how to create a server in Windows.

At first, you need to create a folder in your disk like E:/my server. Then you need to download this file “apache_2.2.10-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi”.

Now install it & set the parameter like my uploaded picture. After that go to C:Program FilesApache Software FoundationApache2.2conf. Find the file “httpd”. Edit it in note pad like the picture below.

After that, save the file like httpd.conf. Now it’s done. Go to browser & write: http://localhost/ or your IP Address. You will see your server.
