Squawk: Error Image in Fuji Aladdin Printing System

I am using Fuji Aladdin Printing System. It is a combination of printer, computer and a scanner.  I have some images that I edited in Photoshop, and when I tried to open it in Fuji Aladdin, I got an error message: “squawk: ERROR IMAGE." I can access all the pictures on a camera without problems.

The Fuji Aladdin has PhotoDeluxe installed on it, and the images can be opened here without problems. I can print directly through PhotoDeluxe. I really like the way my Fuji Aladdin prints, but I want to know first how I can save the files so I can access them without having issues in Aladdin.

Please help.

Hello James.

Photoshop uses psd format by default while saving a file.

Your printer might not support psd format. JPEG is a common image format.

Try saving your images in jped format. If you want to print then do the following:

  1. Open photoshop.
  2. Go to Edit > Color Settings. Select North America Prepress 2(PS CS4) from settings. Press OK.
  3. Select Adobe RGB (1998) from RGB.
  4. Open your image in photoshop. If this message "Embedded Profile Missmatch"occurs then select Use the embedded profile. If this message occurs "Missing Profile" then select Assign working RGB: Adobe RGB (1998)
  5. Edit your photo as you like.
  6. Then go to Image> Image Size. Uncheck resample image and sets Resoultion:300 pixels/inch
  7. Finally save your image. Go to File>Save As. Select Format:JPEG and save.
  8. Print.
