Are old Motorolla phones also has a Splashguard technology inside it? Why only until now that they introduced this Splashguard Technology?

Splashguard technology in Motorolla phones

I don't think that older Motorola mobile phones has the Splash Guard Technology. Maybe for a reason that, older phones are not so complicated to use and to handle. We use older Motorola phones for texting and sending MMS or Multi-Media Messages only or to share media via Infrared or Bluetooth.

Today, latest mobile phones and tablets has an extreme demand of usage since we can do almost everything to it such as check our emails, play games, share media over-the-air, access social media accounts and a lot more. I think Splash Guard becomes available only from the recent Motorola Razr and Xoom tablets. Though Nanotechnology has been introduced way back 2009. So I'm not really sure which Motorola device Splash Guard was first introduced.

This Splash Guard is powered by P2i. P2i works on its nano coating and use a ionized gas (plasma), made inside a vacuum chamber to insert a nanometre-thin polymer layer on the surface of the device. It lessen the surface energy so when water or liquids came into it, they will construct beads and run off. To see how it works for Motorola devices, watch the video below:
