Sony vaio keyboard beeping not displaying characters

when typing on the sony vaio keyboard, nothing displays, just hear faint beeping/clicking do not know if it simply locked or if something further is wrong

Sony vaio keyboard beeping not displaying characters

Hello,

Try with this solution: press the button Assist who is on the top on right side on keyboard. It will open Sony Care and click on Input&Output. Maybe will appear message that says “Are you using a wireless keyboard” click on No, then choose Keyboard problems and finished that. If this doesn’t help you can read another tip from the site below how you can fix your keyboard: https://hateadub.wordpress.com/2011/04/20/code-10-device-manager-keyboard-and-mouse-not-working/ Something else you can also do: check in device manager to see is the driver good installed, if you have Num Lk Scr Lk button in your keyboard click on it, also try to turn off Num Lock.

If keyboard still doesn’t work, try with reformat your computer.
