I connect an Android media box via HDMI cable to I have a SONY Bravia LCD tv model KLV-40D300A and I want to connect an Android media box using HDMI. Problem is that the device can't be detected. Could someone help me on this? Thanks.

Before checking what the problem is, check whether your Android Media box is compatible with your Sony Bravia. Since you haven't mentioned the android box model i am not able to check whether its compatible. If it is a compatible model check whether your drivers are up to date. Some times this issue can happen because of HDMI Cable fault. Make sure your HDMI cable is not defective, if its the problem with HDMI cable, you may need to buy a new cable.
