When I try to start the game, the error message ” d3dx9_25 dll file missing the age of empires 3″ prompts. I tried to download the update to fix it. I even tried to install it manually and the disadvantage persists. I tried to repeat the linked files and paste them into the Age of Empires program folder only to create a message which is also useless. Any relief would be greatly appreciated.

Solving D3dx9_25 Dll Missing Age Of Empires 3

You have to follow these steps to deal with the same:

Insert the CD / DVD of your game into the PC’s CD / DVD drive. Click the Windows Start icon, and then click Documents. So, look for the PC. Locate the CD / DVD drive and click on it.

Locate and click the following folder: CD Player: \ DirectX9

Note that CDDriv represents the drive letter of the drive. Double-click Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x86.cab, right-click d3dx9_25.dll, and then click Copy. Find the following folder for your game:

Player: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Games \ Game Title

Note that during this trip, the drive is the letter of the player in which the sport was registered and the game title is the sport you want to fix. Right-click the game folder for the game entered on the computer, and then click Paste.
