I would like to know about the ‘software’ or ‘web application’ for tax preparation which has certified by ‘NETFILE’ for doing federal tax return of mine, also it can be used or not for territorial or provincial tax return?

Software which has certified by ‘NETFILE’

 

Netfile is a form of electronic filing service that a taxpayer can use to file their personal income tax. A software needs to be certified and verified by CRA before a taxpayer can use Netfile. They have also set a limit of 20 returns per netfile computer so as to protect the integrity of the service.

There are several Netfile Certified software and web application available on the internet. Below is the list of samples. You can choose which one fits best on your settings.

For Windows:

·         AceTax

·         easyCTax

For Macintosh:

·         TaxFreeway

·         Taxtron

Web Applications:

·         5dollarTax

·         AceTax Online

Software which has certified by ‘NETFILE’

 

Hi,

Netfile certification certified that the software’s quality is higher standard and they are more reliable.

I will give you another few softwares which is certified by Netfile that didn’t mention above.

Above mentioned softwares are for the windows

Above mentioned softwares are for the web application.   

Note : You should research policies before using these software.  Another thing is you have to keep update your software everyday and stay with the most recent version of the software when using it.
