Software for Converting Scan file to text

Hi Guys,

I'm just new on this site, I have a problem on how to convert SCAN File to text file. I want to translate it to text because i want to convert in into html. Is there a software for this?

Software for Converting Scan file to text

Hi Brith,

 

There is no software available for that, automatically converts scan file or Jpeg file to text. You must proofread that and encode in order to translate jpeg to text. There where many online image converter available in the internet for free but it has no good result, you still proofread each word to see if theres where no error appears on the process, its still take time. The only solution for this is to purchase a scanner that automatically scans your file and it automatically translates into text file, although there is a proofread but it guarantees 99% accuracy during translation. 

 

Be carefuly to download free softwares on the internet, especially the OCR software. It's not accurate, there is a free trial for 30 days, once you upgrade it to the full version still not guarantee it's accuracy. Comparing to the 3rd party device which is the scanner, this is effective especially books to convert from jpeg to text. All you have to do is to scan the books page by page, do small proofread, finalize and finish process. This device is being used now by the company that accepts this type of jobs i give you an example INNODATA XML., they are specialized on this field and this is there process and they can guarantee 100% to it's client.
