Software for checking duplicate files

Hi! I just want to ask if anybody knows a certain program that could find out if there is any duplication in my folder files. I have two folders that are both containing music files in them. I wanted to see whether there is any file that exists in both folders. Is there any software which can do this? It is a large file so I would have headache if I do it manually. Do you think Windows utility can do this?

Software for checking duplicate files

There are many softwares for checking duplicate files on the internet, some which you will need to download and install them on your computer to use them while some you can just use them online. Some of those softwares include the following:

• Easy Duplicate finder which you can download for free at www.easyduplicatefinder.com
• FindDoubleFiles, which you can get at www.zultrax.com/finddoublefiles
• Fast duplicate file finder, which you can get at http://download.cnet.com/Fast-Duplicate-File-Finder/3000-2248_4-75183786.html

The above-mentioned are just but a few. You can get a whole range of the duplicate finders to choose from, and all you have to do is to go to the search engine of your choice and search them from there.

Hi there,

I am providing a link that will help you out in checking duplicate files.

Anti-Twin is a software application that matches files. It works in a way that it searches for duplicate copies on your hard disk drive. Any matching file that is found out can be deleted straightaway.
