SMS sender comes up with compatibility error message

I had been using this SMS sender, from past the few months and have not been facing any issues.  I recently upgraded my machine to Windows 7 and installed the SMS sender on that, without any error message.

Usually I select the available devices and then enter my destination number, type the content of the message and click on Send. This comes up with a message telling my message was sent successfully.  But when I see my Windows 7 machine, I do not see the installation, and when I try to do it I get an error message

This application is designed to run on Windows XP and later releases.

Any help on this error message ?

SMS sender comes up with compatibility error message

Try installing the Windows update because this error may appear if you are using an outdated version of Windows.

I wish you, specify the name of the software that you are using, so that we can have an idea on what we are dealing with. I think maybe in this case, you were trying to update your Windows. Some Windows updates come with fixes on compatibility with programs and software. But obviously, as the message says, your software is not compatible with your operating system. I suggest downloading the latest version of the program, that you are using and see if it supports the operating system that you are using right now. Keep in mind that upgrading your operating system also means that you must use programs that are compatible with your upgrade. Try doing this and maybe you can make that certain program work properly.
