Small content management system using PHP

Hello All,

I am planning to have a small content management system using PHP. Even though I know a bit about PHP, I am not familiar with PHP for creating a content management system. Will PHP the right choice for creating content management system ? If so, please provide me free scripts and tutorials for PHP content management systems.

Small content management system using PHP

Let's start with the question which language is best to make CMS. The one that's best for you to make CMS will be the one you know best and the one which has tools and utilities to perform web related tasks. As it happens PHP and you might have some idea about SQL and that's enough for now, when you first need to learn as much as you can and make mistakes.

As for the tutorials on how to make and some code samples, follow this Build a CMS in an Afternoon with PHP and MySQL. It explains how to build CMS with PHP and MYSQL, please keep in mind this is a very simple stuff and what every you think you want to do can be done but not right away with this code, you will have to work with this and slowly grow and in some time you might be able to do what you want.
