I use Skydrive to manage all my documents and I have updated my operating system to Windows 8.1 and the installation went fine but now I can't properly synchronize with Skydrive I can only access to the files which were already there before the update and doesn't synchronize with new files. I get this error when I try to synchronize : "Error: We can't connect to your SkyDrive because the path of a file or folder is too long".

Skydrive cannot synchronize with new files after windows update

Hi Alex,
The error is because the registry files are blocking the Skydrive to sync with Windows.
To resolve this error there are several tools available and are listed below:
A) Registry Reviver
1) The registry reviver tool finds and removes all the invalid registry entries
2) It improves the windows startup time
3) It prevents the blue screen errors to occur in the system
4) Download the tool from the Reviver official website
5) After the file is downloaded, run the 'RegistryReviverSetup.exe' and follow the instructions
6) Run the program and click 'Start Scan' button to fix the registry problems

B) DLL Tool
1) Download the DLL tool from the Avangate official website
2) Run the .exe file after the download is completed
3) It will repair all the registry files present in the system
4) Restart the system after the process is completed
