It is said that researchers of Utah stated that smartphone personal assistants are not much safer and they also stated that hands free technology is highly distracting. Does Siri have the least insightful methods of satisfying the needs of a driver without any distraction? Is Siri highly distracting for drivers while drivers?

Is Siri highly distracting for drivers while drivers?

This study was conducted by the University of Utah which then criticized the security of using Siri while a user is driving. Researchers have tested the 6 speech-recognition systems and they found that Siri was the worst to cause driver distraction. The study conducted connected drivers to heart-rate monitors and other tools meant to calculate the degree of stress experienced by drivers while doing a series of voice-command tasks.

Each of the 6 speech-recognition systems will be given a distraction rating from 1 to 5 where 1 is the best and 5 is the worst. Last month, WSJ reported that Siri had the worst score which received a distraction rating of 4.
