Set up problem in Brother Printer Software Update 2.8.

Hello everyone,

Today, just when I set up the Brother Printer Software Update 2.8 with the Apple Software Update (on MacOS 10.7.2), then my configured HL-2030 stopped responding, showing that some files were lost. So I attempt to remove the printer and then add it again. But problem is still exists. What can I do to resolve it? Please help me.

Set up problem in Brother Printer Software Update 2.8.

You can solve this problem very easily.

Just remove the software you have already installed. Then Download Brother Printer Software Update 2.8 with the Apple Software Update (on MacOS 10.7.2) from the internet and reinstall it.

I hope you will get a solution.

Set up problem in Brother Printer Software Update 2.8.

Good day!

 

Maybe when you installed Brother Printer Software Update 2.8 together with the Apple Software Update, one of these software created conflicts that's why this error occurred, or Brother Printer Software update 2.8 was corrupted or incompletely downloaded. to resolve this follow these simple steps :

 

A. Uninstall Brother Printer Software Update 2.8.

B. after a clean removal, open your browser.

C. download the driver (https://support.apple.com/kb/DL894?locale=en_US).

D. After the download, install.
