Set barcode in Microsoft word 2000

I want to post some letter of our customer. I am using Microsoft Word 2000.

In Word 2000 I want to add a barcode for security.

Is it possible to set barcode with that letter without help of any third party software?

 

 

I want to use only Microsoft Word. If possible how can I do this?

Set barcode in Microsoft word 2000

Bar codes are usually auto-generated after the configuration of the site admin and they are generated at the server of those documents, so you can upload another or edit the previous one. But you have to mention the configuration of barcode at the document and to do that you should insert the image of barcode.

But if you want to do that manually then follow this method:

• Go to Quick Launch and click on the name of library if it is not open. 
• If library is not opening like this then go to  View All site Control>choose the name of library.
• Choose the desired document and click on the Edit Option in MS Word.
• Insert the barcode on that document by clicking on Tab if Insert>Barcode group>Barcode. And this way you can set the barcode.
