Hey, I was using my PC and was trying to install software when suddenly, I encountered “service marked for deletion” error. Can anyone shed some proper light on my problem and tell me what is causing it and how to fix it?

A) – Service marked for deletion could be caused because of multiple services is running.
To fix it, you can try to do a system restart. A simple reboot is enough to get rid of this error. This is because background services that are running get closed when you shut down your system and when the system restarts fewer services runs, giving the RAM and processor lesser load. Result in no error.
B) – Service marked for deletion could also be caused when you try to modify or stop a running service.
To fix it, you can try; Microsoft Management Console is a component that provides an interface, that allows you to control as well as monitor the system in the windows server. When you try to do any kind of change while any service is running in MMC, which could be open in another system or server, you could get this error. So to remove this error, kindly just close the MMC, and you will free from easy anti-cheat, The Specified Service is Marked for Deletion error.
