Hello online players,

I like to play online games when I am free from work. For a few days I suddenly found that my optical mouse is not functioning properly while playing game online java based. Other than any games the mouse function well. Any suggestion please!

Hello Jennifer Harden,

If your mouse is working for everything else but the java-based games that you play, it could be possible that the mouse is not compatible with the game.

If you're trying to use the extra gaming buttons that the mouse comes with, the game might not require them.

Check the capabilities of the game and check the functions of your mouse.

There are some mouse which are completely incapable for playing java-based games because they are meant for office use. It could also be the version of your java that doesn't enable you to use your mouse with the game.

Updating your java could be the reason.

1. Check the capabilities of the mouse.

2. Check mouse settings on your computer.

3. Update your java.
