Sandboxie Pro 2012 Portable isn’t working on Windows 8

Hi.  I use Sandboxie Pro 2012 Portable to have a controlled testing environment of untrusted programs and web browsing on my Windows 7 64 bit system.  I am now on a Windows 8 OS.  The program now crashes when launched.  What could be the problem?

Sandboxie Pro 2012 Portable isn’t working on Windows 8

The Sandboxie version that you are trying to install is not fully supported on windows 8 Operating System. I will therefore recommend that you get Sandboxie version 3.74 which is fully supported by Windows 8. All Sandboxie versions that are below 3.72 are not supported by windows 8.

Hi Dorethadhoward. Compatibility issue usually comes in this kind of situation. I think you should use Sandboxie v3.74 because Sandboxie v3.74 is universal. By following the steps of downloading the Sandboxie, you will be experiencing the real essence of Sandboxie on your system unit. Here are the five  steps that might help you on how to use it: 1. Install Sandboxie 2.Use keygen, fill up the fields version and syscode and then click “on”. After that, apply the patch. 3. Use dseo13b (run it as admin), and then enable the test mode. 4. After that reboot your system unit so the changes will take effect. 5. Use the keygen, fill it up again and then click on to activate.  Hope this helps.
