Running Avid Media Composer problem

Hello everyone!

The problem I'm having involves running the Avid Media Composer. The error which appears is this:

Avid Media Compose

Failed to migrate license information.

Please contact Customer Support for further assistance.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.7. so I think it's supposed to support the new version. If someone has already encountered this particular problem please send some info on how to get it fixed.

Running Avid Media Composer problem

I have successfully used Avid Media Composer in the past and  I will just share what I did to make sure it was working. The first step is to activate your software license online. Then register your Avid Media composer. Find out with the Customer support if your transfer has been permitted pursuant to the terms of the license. Another thing to confirm is whether you Avid Media composer is educational because these ones are not for resale and therefore not transferable. If you confirm all of this I don't think there will be trouble using it.

Another issue is that I am not sure whether your system is avid qualified note that for optimal performance and reliability there some systems that are qualified check if you mac 0S  x 10.5.7 is the version required the versions qualified are mac 0S x 10.6.5-10.6.8 (snow Leopard) and 10.7 (Lion). If fixed then you will enjoy the use of your Avid Media Composer.
