I am trying to install Rhino but I am getting an error when the setup reaches 50%. "Error 1311. Source file not found:

C:Docume~1userlocals~1temprar$Dl10.5063Rhino4_setup7.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." How can this issue be resolved? Can I set it up without getting this error? Your help will be appreciated.

Since the installation really doesn’t complete, try visiting the location of the missing file, C:Docume~1userlocals~1temprar$Dl10.5063Rhino4_setup7.cab, if it is indeed missing. If that location doesn’t display the missing file, Rhino4_setup7.cab, try searching your whole system drive for this file. It’s not possible for an installation to have a missing cabinet file. If you found the file on a different folder, just copy it on the said location and then restart the installation.

If the file is really missing then there’s no use on restarting the installation again and again. The process will always stop at 50%. Since this is already not working, download and install Rhino 5.0 Beta which was released only last May 31, 2012. To download Rhino 5.0 Beta, visit Rhinoceros – NURBS modeling for Windows.

You might be facing this issue because Your Windows security policy might not be allowing the system to access the source file from CD. So here you go with the  solution. Copy the contents of your CD to a new folder in your HD. Now Run the Setup again. You will not face this issue anymore. 🙂

I have researched on your issue and find that, this is the problem of software. Please download the latest version of Rhino from the official website of Rhino and Install:

https://www.rhino3d.com/download

Before installing latest version remove the previous version (Don't Update the same version. If already created some folder / Data)

At the time of downloading, please check the specification (System Requirement) of software and your PC.

I wish this solution may be helpful. Thanks!
