Hello
Few Days Before i changed the partitions on my harddisk, how do i restore the partitions of harddisk using a TestDisk Software?

Hello, to solve the problem you can do the following.
1. Back-up previous files in a safe place.Â
2.Place the bootable disc in the disc tray And make changes in the BIOS to boot the system from the CD.
3. Select default settings and press enter.
4. Double click on the terminal.
5. This is done just to ensure that your partition table is corrupt.
6. Open Testdisc with the command #testdisc.
7. The utility will open.
8. Select the HD you want to recover from virtual HD created using VMware.
9. Select the appropriate partition type, mostly Intel.
10. your partition will be recovered.

Hi Scott,
EASEUS partition recovery software can be used to recover lost partition without loss of data and is a freeware. Just download the software and run .There you will get an option to select which disk you lost the partition. This will recover your hard disk partition. Upon completion you can check for the data.
