Replication of Publishing Content on NAS or Individual Nodes

When publishing to a staging machine and the content source has to be replicated either on a NAS or individual nodes, what method of publishing content do you prefer? Is it FTP, FrontPage, or Folder copy?

Replication of Publishing Content on NAS or Individual Nodes

Hello Bliss Gray,

I will prefer that you use the folder copy method when you need to stage a machine and the content source has to be replicated on a NAS individual copy, because with this method you can make a backup copy of the original which you can use to restore the server to a former state in case the configuration process ends up having problems like loss of data.

Problems may occur as a result of editing the namespaces incorrectly some which may even require that you install applications that use the namespace. So from my point of view, I will advise that you go for the folder copy method.
