Replacing a new Graphics Card

I am not familiar with replacing graphics card. And I would want to know few things about:

a.) a website where I can post computer specs so I can post them and if I can install my old 7600 GT Nvidia to my new computer

b.) Which graphics card is better to use, a 7600 GT or a 9300 GE? Will I end up messing with the 9300 GE in any ways?

c.) and lastly, how can I uninstall the old graphics card then install it to the new one.

Thank you.

Hello Craig,

It seems that you just got yourself a new computer. It is important to know that the video card drivers that you used on your old computer will not necessarily work on the new computer especially if the new computer is a different model and has different system specifications. You need to find the right VGA drivers for your new computer for it to work properly, otherwise if you try to install the drivers for the old computer and they are not compatible then they will not work.

A simple way to install the drivers is from the device manager. Just open the device manager using the following procedure:

Right click on Computer>>Properties>>Device Manager.

Look for Display Adapters and right click on it, and then choose the option for searching the updated driver automatically.

The computer will search the driver online and install it.
