Hi, 

I am using 3G dongle and try to send & receive sms from sim on computer. I have a software which is provided with dongle, but there is no Send & receive sms from sim on computer. Please suggest me software for resolving my problem.

Hello Nelson,

There are many buy able software available in net. If u need a free then try following one:

  • Software name : UMTSmon
  • Website link : Sourceforge.net/projects/umtsmon/
  • This program is to control your UMTS PCCard.
  • Enter SIM PIN code, send and receive SMS and control/monitor the network connection.

HI Dear,

In 3G Dongle only 3G SIM can be operate well. First you check that your sim is 3G.

If you have no 3G sim so kindly do not try to send SMS through it.

If you have 3G sim in 3G dongle so First try to update the software provided with the 3G dongle.

Check also that your Dongle is not in technical problem.
