Hi all,

I wish to know how to use Joomla 3 default components if I want to create more complex pages. I have looked for joomla component tutorial allover the web, but couldn’t find a valuable solution.

Here is what you are looking for:

Create content with the Components Manager

By default, the Components Manager in Joomla includes some options for adding complex page types to your Joomla website. Also, Joomla 3 comes along with a few components which are already present in the system that allow you to form certain page types: Contacts, Search,Newsfeeds, Web references and Smart Search.

If you wish to create a page with news feed, for instance, you have to go to Components > Newsfeeds > Feeds, and then, click the green NEW button.
