Question on migrating emails, any idea?

I have all emails from my former ISP and new ISP in Outlook 2010.

I moved my emails to a new folder.

Would I still be able to access my emails even if I delete the old folder?

Also, can Switch email move the emails for me?

Question on migrating emails, any idea?

Assuming that your backup file for all emails from your former ISP is outlook data file (.pst) and your new ISP configure your email in Outlook 2010.

Now please open Outlook 2010 and follow below steps:-

1. Click FILE tab
2. Clock OPEN and then click Open Outlook Data File.
3. Navigate to the .pst file to import and then click Ok.
 

You are done and find a new folder (name as like backup outlook data file) in the inbox folder panel.

Your old ISP mails are now in the new folder and new emails come into the inbox folder.

So you can easily switch email from old to new.
