What happen when the baby quantum internet system will mature and will it be able to process large amounts of data?

Quantum internet was born today.

 

Hi there,

This is like the birth of the Internet all over again. Years from now, it will be said that the baby quantum internet was born today and when the system matures it will be able to process humongous amounts of data and quite possibly invulnerable to infiltration attacks.

Even though the system currently has only two nodes, let’s not forget the internet began in the same fashion way back in the 60’s. The system is developed by a team of scientists, and led by physicist Stephan Ritter and Gerhard Rempe of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Germany
