The program can’t start because WMASF.DLL is missing

Hello,

 

I am using Windows XP Operating system and received an error message that the program can’t start because WMASF.DLL is missing. I have tried to reinstall this application but the problem still remains. I am waiting for your reply so please help me.

Hello,

Your Windows Live suite has become corrupted. This can be resolved, first thing you need to do is, uninstall windows live and all its components, and restart computer. Then download a WINDOWS LIVE from this link, and follow on-screen instructions to install. After these steps, everything should work fine!

The program can’t start because WMASF.DLL is missing

Hello Johnny,

The program cannot start because WMASF.DLL file is missing from your computer. Reinstalling the program to fix this problem doesn't help at all. If you are using Windows XP Operating system and received an error message that the program can’t start because WMASF.DLL is missing the solution to solve this problem is as follows :

1. Download the WMASF.txt file from the attachment below and save it as WMASF.DLL

2. Copy the DLL file into the directory where you are installing the program. For example if the program is installed in c:/Program Files/SoftwareX then go to this directory and paste the DLL file.

4. Also paste a similar copy of the files in the Windows folder inside C drive.

3. Restart your computer and try running the application.
