The program can’t start because MSVCR71.dill is missing from your computer

I tried to start rubyw Software but this error came. I tried restarting but I guess the .dll file is really missing. I tried reinstalling it but same thing happened.

Where can I find this .dll file in the installer or to be quicker can I download this from the internet? If so who can give me a safer source so that I would not have more problems.

Hello! Good Day!

It could be caused by a corrupted or removed MSVCR71 DLL file. In some cases, it could also be a hardware problems or virus/malware issues. Downloading the DLL file from DLL download websites should be your last option. It is best to get it from its original source. Try to un-install then re-install the software. You might have to change a configuration during the installation.

Also, check your recycle bin, You could have mistakenly deleted the DLL file. Another option, use system restore. Choose the restore point where you think your computer was still working good. Run a Virus/Malware Scan on your entire system. Repair your system by the use of your windows installer.
