Hi! I decided to change OS from Linux to Windows 7. I changed boot devise in BIOS, everything as usual, insert CD, but after sometime system lost connection with CD and somehow started to load Linux by itself, Then I had to restart my computer and after that I have only black screen with message "fixed disc: (and its number)". Now I can't install anything, not Windows nor Linux. Please assist.

Hello

It can be possible that hard disk is failed during windows installation.May be window can be corrupted. If you have new and valid XP then try it by installation repairing. If you are choosing new then you will lost all data and application. Install a clean and new version of window. If you will install new windows then you should need to install all software and recommended drivers.
