Hi people, When you put a dedicated server with 2 hard disk drives in a raid through software, an error occurs if it is used with XenServer. Is it supported by the latter?? I am asking because I was told that only hardware must be utilized.

Hello Kris Lima,

I think the problem why the error occurs when you try to put a dedicated server with 2 hard disk drives in a raid through software by using a  XenServer is caused by wrong installation procedure.

Therefore you are supposed to check your system and ensure that it meets the basic requirements to work well with the dedicated server. The hardware must be supporting an ubuntu platform and it should be able to meet the minimum system requirements.

Some of these basic requirements include the processor architectures, some of which are supported include Intel and AMD both the 84 bit and 64 bit, and also the machine having the capability to run the graphical version of ubuntu is another requirement.
