Hi! I use application to share wi-fi from my laptop, but not all devices can connect. Laptops and tablets do not connect, my phone connected by only after I reinstalled the driver in laptop for wi-fi. I think it shares standarts 802.11b or 802.11g, the ones that devices cannot receive, but in this case I don't know what I should do, renew the driver? Please assist.

Hi Louie!

You solution is checking your router settings. It is a common problem that router is sometimes kicked out of the system for various reasons, and they can't find the same path again automatically. The closer you are to your router, the better signal will be, with less blocks on your way. You will confirm the doubt if you try to connect your laptop with another network and see if it is working. If your laptop connects to another router, then depending of the router you own, try entering the router's address in the browser of your computer to check manually and change necessary settings and see if the DNS sever is not causing the issue.

Find in the settings related to channels, and put it in the mixed mode, not only 802.11b or 802.11g. Unplug your modem for a few minutes, and then plug it back on, the IP addresses should be configured again.

Regards,

Mathew
