A problem occurred while installing Foxit

Hi friends,

I have an issue here, this is all about my hard time in installing Foxit, while  I am on the process of installing Foxit to my computer, I meet en error message, the error message goes like "You have install Foxit Reader, Are you want to continue?"

You have install Foxit Reader, Are you want to continue?

When that error message appeared on my screen, honestly I have a hard time understanding it because of how it was stated, but when I try to understand it, the bottom line is installation failure, because of that I get another copy of the installer, when I try to install it again, same error message appeared,

Please share your experience on this error message,

A problem occurred while installing Foxit

Hi i get through the same problem . If you want to get rid of this error message try to install FOXIT on the C drive instead of D drive. Because FOXIT  is a kind of a program that needs to be install on the root drives only to be functioned properly. Apply this change on your download and hope you will be fruitful from it.

Hi,

Actually this is not an error this is a warning that you have already installed the software in your computer. Are you sure you want to install it again. If it is not working properly then uninstall it completely from your computer first and then install it again. Make sure that no files or registry settings are left. I hope you find the solution.

Dear Thomas,

It seems this is not a Foxit Reader problem but you have already installed it once and therefore the message appears that if you want to install it again.

You don’t need to install it again and just enjoy the already installed version.

If you still find any errors in opening Foxit Reader then –

1. You can go to control panel/programs/uninstalling program/Foxit Reader/click right/Uninstall to uninstall the Foxit Reader

2. Later again install Foxit Reader on C drive.

Hi Thomas,

This is not an error in the program. It just an exclamation message that will inform you that you already have installed Foxit Reader.

It’s seems a little fishy the message displayed. So I definitely consider to remote your current version of the program and reinstall the official releases of Foxit Reader.

Also please schedule a quick virus scanning on you computer.

Just in case.
