Problem with my Xbox 360

I recently brought a Xbox 360 and I always like to play with it, till yesterday.

last day when I try to insert a disk, first it start reading and then suddenly it stopped and showing 'open tray' message.

I am not so confident to open it up, because it is new.

I am quite scared because, if my parents know about this. I don't know what is going to happen.

So somebody help me please.

Problem with my Xbox 360

I think you misunderstood the message that was displayed on your screen. The “tray” that was mentioned on the message is pointing to the CD tray of your Xbox 360, the part of the machine where you usually insert your disk. The machine says to open the tray because it was unable to successfully read the disk and automatically wants you to remove it by opening the CD tray.

If this happens, maybe the lens of your machine is already dirty and needs to be cleaned. Try cleaning it up using any CD cleaner that you have. You may also use the CD cleaner for VCD or DVD player or the CD cleaner for your computer. They are all the same. After cleaning its lens make sure to let it dry first for a couple of minutes before inserting another disk to avoid any damage. If you are sure that it’s already dry, try inserting another disk again and see if it’s fixed already.

Side by side this error you can also experience many problem with Xbox 360. So my recommendation visit another page to know about that problem as well solution too.
