I have a DELL laptop with windows 7 and a Bose Sound Link, they connect by blue tooth. I had a problem and removed the device (Bose) from the Bluetooth devices on the Dell and all the devices on the Bose Sound Link, then tried to link them again and they won't. It worked perfectly the first time around?

Hi Kamruzzamanb4,

If you encountered such problems the first thing you do is try to run a troubleshooter device that could fix any problems just like yours.  Here's how to run a trouble shooter device:

  1. Just click the buttonto fix your problem.

2.In the dialog box " DOWNLOAD FILE" and hit RUN and you haveto follow what is instructed.

Hope this might help you.

Thanks

Hello Kamruzzaman,

To be able to run troubleshooter devices and hardware, you can down load Microsoft Fix It. After downloading and installing the software, just follow the steps on the wizard.

Or you can also download Windows Mobile Device Center, make sure that you download the latest version in the link below:

Next is install the software. And then from control panel go to the device manager. From there you will see an unknown device. Just right click the upper driver software and then update the window. For driver software button, click browse my computer. Then click list of device drivers to my computer and select the Bluetooth that you are using.

I hope it helps.

Hallo Kam,

My suggestion will be you delete the Bluetooth device on both your computer as well as the Boss Sound Link, and then try searching for the device again and see if it will be found. But before you even go ahead and search the device, you will need to ensure that:

  • The Bluetooth drivers have been installed on your computer. Go to the device manager and verify that. If they haven't been installed you will need to install them because you cannot use Bluetooth services without them.
  • Also ensure that Wi-Fi on your computer has been turned on.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
