Hi tech experts,

My pc is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. I have no other problem with any other software, but I am having a strange problem with my Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

When I open my Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, it shows an error pop up saying: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64-bit has stopped working. I have attached an image of the actual message here below.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64-bit

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64-bit has
stopped working

A problem cased the program to stop working correctly.

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available.

                                                                      Close program

Sometimes I can still open it and work on it, but on the middle of the work it get closed showing this pop up message. I have tried uninstall it and reinstall but no use. I can hardly open this software now. It shows on the pop up message that windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available, but windows never notified me anything.

Please provide me a useful solution. I need to use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom badly.

Thanks in advance for your kind help.

Hi,

The following are the possible solutions for your problem:

1. Try to use the 32-bit software on your computer. If the 64-bit is not working then switch to the 32-bit version and see whether it is working or not.

2. As you said that the programs ends automatically after some time, it can be caused due to the compatibility problem. Download the version of the software that is supported by your operating system. Check the system requirements of each version and then download the version which is supported by your system.

3. Check the bin files for any errors. Go to start button and click on the command prompt. In the command prompt type scf/scannow to repair any corrupted bin files.

This should solve your problem.
