I am using winxp pro with SP2 Internet Explorer 6.0. My problem is that I cannot copy and paste any url with user name and password in the url and when I did so it come with blank page. What to do?
I think it is happening because some command of internet option is changed. For the solution, at first you have to go to “Tools” tab of your internet explorer. Then go to “Internet Options”.
After that you have to choose a zone click the “Custom level” button. Then scroll down to “Miscellaneous”. After that drag and drop down the menu select “copy and paste files”. Then select “Enable”. At last click Apply and OK.

Have you installed any new third party software? This issue might be a result of it. First we will disable all enabled third party browser extensions and see. To achieve this, please follow below instructions.
In the Windows Internet Explorer Browser click Tools>Internet Options>Go to Advanced tab>Under Settings > go to Browsing category >uncheck option “Enable Third Party Browser extensions”>Apply>OK
